The EuroLax Sixes Cup will be held in the city of Vila Real de Santo António, down in the south of Portugal, in the region of the Algarve, on the 25, 26 and 27 February 2022.
The EuroLax Sixes Cup is the first ever European-based international Sixes event, which features the new Olympic-version of lacrosse, with 6 players from each team on the field during the game. This event will see up to 18 national teams, both men’s and women’s, compete during 3 days of competition.
This event will be the first international event on European soil to feature the new Lacrosse format Sixes, designed to be played at the Olympic Games. The event will feature live broadcasting.
The event will be hosted by Portugal Lacrosse and Osiris-Sports, and co-organized by the European Lacrosse Federation and World Lacrosse.
