The United Nations is an international organization founded in the aftermath of the Second World War with the primary aim of promoting peace, security, cooperation and development among its member states. It acts as a forum for nations to collectively address global issues and find diplomatic solutions.
This brings to an end the 48th United Nations Inter-Agency Games, held between October 18 and 22, 2023, in Vila Real de Santo António, which was attended by 1173 participants and 129 countries. The aim of this event, organized by O-Sports and proposed by the United Nations, was to provide a sporting and social event for workers from the various United Nations Agencies as a form of team building and unity between different families and nationalities.
