The Covered Bridge Soccer Club recently completed a week-long football training camp in Porto, Portugal, thanks to O-Sports. The group of 28 individuals was able to train with coaches from FC Porto and play against some of the top local clubs, including Vitória SC.
In their free time, the team took the opportunity to see the main sights of Porto, including a boat tour along the Douro river and visits to the Estádio do Dragão and the FC Porto Museum. They also celebrated Thanksgiving in a traditional Portuguese restaurant where they were able to try the famous dish "francesinha."
The team's Brazilian coach, Leonardo Saúde, was particularly excited about the trip as he had previously lived in Portugal as a football player. The experience was so positive that the Covered Bridge Soccer Club is already planning to return to Porto in April to participate in the 2nd edition of the Porto International Cup 2023.
