From August 6th to August 13th, O-Sports proudly hosted a 7-night "Field Hockey Tour to Barcelona," offering participants a perfect blend of high-level training and cultural exploration in one of Europe’s most iconic cities.
Throughout the week, the team engaged in intense training sessions, participated in friendly matches, and attended specialized clinics led by a professional field hockey coach.
One of the standout moments was the chance to compete against the field hockey team of the world-renowned FC Barcelona, providing the athletes with an exciting and challenging experience. The team also played at the prestigious Pau Negre Olympic Sports Complex, a venue known for hosting top-tier international competitions.
In addition to their sports activities, the group enjoyed exploring the cultural gems of Barcelona. They toured landmarks such as the Barcelona Cathedral, strolled down the famous Las Ramblas, and admired the artistic beauty of Park Güell. The group also ventured outside the city to visit Montserrat and the historic Roman Circus in Tarragona, gaining a deeper appreciation for the region’s history and heritage.
The athletes also had the opportunity to unwind at the beach, soaking up the Mediterranean sun after their intense field hockey schedule. The combination of competitive play and relaxation made for a well-rounded and unforgettable tour.
O-Sports continues to offer sports tours that seamlessly integrate athletic development with immersive cultural experiences. This field hockey tour to Barcelona perfectly demonstrated the balance between sport and culture, leaving participants with memories of both their time on the field and their discoveries off it.
