From March 4th to 9th, the thrilling Women’s European Sixes Qualifier WG25 took place, while from March 7th to 9th, the Eurolax Sixes Cup for men was played. These two prestigious lacrosse competitions brought together top teams to compete and, in the case of the women’s tournament, to qualify for the World Games.
The Women’s European Sixes Qualifier featured 12 teams, providing three days of intense action that culminated in a thrilling final between Ireland and Czechia, with Ireland emerging victorious. Final standings for the women’s event:
1st – Ireland
2nd – Czechia
3rd – Israel
In the men’s Eurolax Sixes Cup, 7 teams from 6 different countries competed for the title. The Netherlands claimed the championship, with Switzerland finishing second and Armenia taking third.
The dual organization of these tournaments was a fantastic success, showcasing high-level lacrosse talent and creating a unique atmosphere of international sporting excellence.
